Today my facebook feed was full of urges to go and vote and people commenting that they did vote: absentee ballot! drive through voting! in a garage!
Sadly I did not vote, I’m only a lowly tax paying resident, so I have no say. Kinda infuriating since, you know the tax paying, oh and the anchor babies. So with this in mind I will make comments. If I could have voted I would have.
Prop 19. Didn’t pass. Kinda upsets me. I think the added taxes that marijuana sales would have made for the state are important. I hate to think that people are frightened of the drug. Gah. Get over it! I want to shout at these people that if their teens or preteens really want to get a hold of some they will. Oh and I’m the girl that’s never tried it, ever, in her whole life. Perhaps there are some people that don’t want it to be commercialized, maybe cutting into their own profits, which I think is horribly greedy. But that’s my opinion. I cant’ help but think of Prop 8 and how that California really is more conservative that I’d like to think it is. Not making me proud Californians, not!
New Govenor Jerry Brown. He’s old, he’s done this before, he’s a democrat. Whoot. I didn’t really like that Meg girl. I think it’s amusing that she lost, especially after she spent so much of her own money.
Well that’s all that’s coming to mind now. Since we’ve given up cable I’m not up to date on everything as much, and frankly since I can’t vote I don’t look into as much. It frustrates me too much.
